This edition of Rachmaninoff’s well-known Vocalise is based on an arrangement Koussevitzky created c. 1910. The manuscript can be found in the Library of Congress. Of particular interest in this arrangement is the key that Koussevitzky performed this piece in which is particularly well-suited for performance on the double bass.
